Why do we cage ourselves and play down our potential?
Why are we programmed from a young age to believe that self-limitation is synonymous with modesty and self-doubt, with humility?
Why do we shackle our own feet and clip our own wings in a bid to fit into someone else’s norm when we are waaaay better than that?
We are way stronger than we believe ourselves to be, way kinder than we allow ourselves to be, way more lovable than we accept ourselves to be.
The moment we begin to be real with ourselves on the inside, things begin to change for our good on the outside.
Allow yourself to be free.
“… From today, I give myself permission to be unapologetically me. To think and feel and say what I see from my perspective of positivity.”
As someone who doesn’t like standing out, it can be a challenge embracing who I am and putting my needs above others. Maybe someday I’ll be free. Thanks for sharing!
