Founded in August of 2020 by Xyvah, Chartus.X is a UK-based independent publishing company focused on giving a voice and platform to minority people around the world.

The name Chartus.X is derived from the latin word "Chartus" meaning "Papyrus, book(s) or writing(s)" and the Roman Numeral "X" (ten) which, in numerology, stands for "wholeness, unity and fresh new beginnings."
As a publisher, Chartus.X strives to give life to original, high-quality content while quick-stepping to the fast-changing market and adapting in the ways necessary to get our stories heard.

"We believe in the power and importance of books, We also believe great stories deserve to be heard."

The company is run by a team of authors and business individuals working in tandem with other industry professionals.

Xyvah is an editor, professional publisher, and author. Her portfolio also includes fantasy novels, non-fiction titles and poetry volumes.

Kaitlyn is an award-winning author of speculative fiction for both young and new adults.
